Other Things to Do with Your Charm

In November's box there was a little frog charm, hiding in a lilypad bag. In each box there will be a charm associated with the book in some way - we just liked the idea of having a memento of each book as each of the books we choose are special to us as we hope they will be to you. However we know that charm bracelets aren't for everyone so here are some other ideas of things you can do with your charms!

Put it on the keyring!

Also in the box there was a bookish quote keyring, which would work very well as a storage space for your charm.

Turn it into a bookmark

You could do this in as simple a way as by tying your frog (or any future charms) onto a piece of yarn, string or ribbon and voila. Bookmark.

Make a cushion or lavender bag

I'm aware that it's probably just me who'd expend this much effort towards this, but you could easily turn the lilypad bag into a lavender bag (just fill it with dried lavender) or cushion (toy stuffing) by stuffing it and sewing it closed. Then you could sew the frog on and use it as a decoration, put it under your pillow to help you sleep or keep your drawers smelling nice!

Get a charm bracelet

While we wanted to provide some ideas for those who aren't excited by charm bracelets, I think it would be cool to have a book inspired charm bracelet. Maybe you could add charms for other favourite books too, or just keep adding to the bracelet each quarter when your box comes in!

We'd love to see what you do with yours - let us know in the Facebook group or using #ninjabookbox on social media.

February's box goes on sale on Monday December 5th! The theme is A Shakespearean Mystery and we will have limited numbers available so don't miss out. Make sure you sign up to our newsletter (below) to keep up to date.
